2026 - Another Year of Success at Salesian

Students and their families at Salesian were celebrating following the publication of this year’s A' level and vocational results this week. Students were deservedly well rewarded with an excellent set of results continuing Salesian's sustained track record of high achievement over many years.  

41% of all grades were A* or A with an amazing 50 students achieving straight A*-A results, some of which are listed below. 72% of all grades were A*-B with 90% being A*-C.  

Almost all students from the College at Salesian secured their first choice university place with 60% of applicants gaining places at Russell Group universities including Cambridge, Oxford, Warwick, UCL and Durham. 

Deputy Headteacher and Head of College, Lizzie Bolton said "I am absolutely delighted by this year's A Level, BTEC and T Level results at Salesian. Our students have worked incredibly hard and their achievements are richly deserved. These results reflect not only their commitment and resilience, but also the dedication of our staff and the support of families throughout their journey. As this is my final set of results at Salesian, I feel especially proud of all that our students have accomplished. It has been a privilege to be part of their journey, and I wish them every happiness and fulfilment as they take their next steps". 

Headteacher, Paul Gower said, "This is another incredible year of achievement at Salesian College. I am delighted for our wonderful students and selfless staff who have both worked so hard over the last two years. Delivering this standard of outcomes for 222 students takes huge dedication, a quality our excellent staff have in spades. I wish our students all the very best in their next steps the majority of whom leave us after 7 successful years”.
