Ethos, Vision and Values
Salesian School is deeply rooted in the ethos and values established by Don Bosco 200 years ago.
The school’s mission is centred around educating the whole person, encompassing six core principles: promoting Gospel values, inspiring vocation, achieving highly, generating happiness, growing knowledge, and delivering experiences. This holistic approach extends beyond academics to include a rich pastoral and co-curricular programme. At Salesian, relationships are paramount, fostering a culture of respect, understanding, affection, and humour (RUAH). This emphasis on positive relationships, coupled with high expectations and discipline, creates a nurturing and secure learning environment where students thrive.
As a school community we are committed to developing well-rounded individuals who are not only equipped with excellent qualifications but also possess strong values and character, prepared to make a positive impact on the world. Through this holistic approach, we strive to build the child, and in turn, build the kingdom.
