Catholic Life

At Salesian, Catholic ethos is at the heart of everything we do. Inspired by the teachings of St. John Bosco, we strive to nurture a community where faith, respect, and compassion flourish.

We are lucky enough to have a dedicated Chaplaincy Team, who is present every day to support students and staff and both school and college. They offer spiritual guidance, pastoral care, and a listening ear, helping to foster a culture of kindness and inclusion. Whether through one-on-one conversations, group activities, or leading liturgies, the chaplaincy team plays a vital role in enriching the spiritual life of our school.

There are multiple occasions throughout the year to mark key moments in our liturgical calendar, such as:

Whole School Masses - We celebrate our shared faith each year through two whole-school Masses, bringing together students, staff, and families.

Liturgies - Each year group participates in multiple liturgies throughout the academic year, offering opportunities for reflection, prayer, and spiritual growth tailored to their journey. These liturgies are designed to be meaningful and relevant, helping students connect their faith to everyday life.

Daily prayer - a cornerstone of our school routine. Every morning begins with a moment of prayer during tutor time, grounding our day in gratitude, hope, and intention.

If you would like to know more or are a student wishing to get more involed, please speak to Father Marco (school), or Father Kevin (college).
