Salesian School Celebrates Another Year of ‘Stellar’ Results

Headteacher, Paul Gower celebrated with students collecting their GCSE results at Salesian today saying that they were a ‘stellar set of results for a stellar group of students’.

45% of all grades for the class of 2026 were 9-7 (A*-A), with 90% getting a 9-4 grade in both English and Maths. There was lots of individual success with 12 students gaining between 7-10 grade 9s (listed below) and an amazing 34 students carrying away a clean sweep of 9-7 (A*-A) grades.

Headteacher, Paul Gower said, "This is a stellar set of results for a stellar group of students. The results are testament to their hard work and determination. While the students deserve all the credit, the incredible staff at this school deserve to be recognised too. Regardless of whether they answer the phones, count the money, clean the site or indeed teach they lessons they do this work to allow young people the chance of success, a chance this group clearly grasped with both hands this year. I take my hat off to them all.”
