The Salesian music programme features a curriculum aligned with the National Curriculum, encompassing performance, composition, and appraisal, with a variety of performance opportunities.
Beyond the classroom, the school provides co-curricular activities such as choirs, ensembles, and peripatetic lessons, as well as trips and workshops to broaden musical experiences. Our music development plan is available below:
By the end of Year 13 students will begin to take more ownership of their learning and practice. They will act as role models for other students lower down in the school and support co-curricular opportunities for younger students. We study Eduqas A level, providing continuity from the GCSE course.
