At Salesian we are proud to offer a range of A-Levels, Applied A-Levels and BTEC qualifications for you to choose from. You may decide to do one type of qualification or a combination of the three different types but whatever you choose, in 2017 all Year 12 students must take up a minimum of 3 qualifications from September of entry.
You can find an overview of the subjects offered in the Sixth Form on this website, or for more details you can download our latest course booklet. Here you can browse the options available, learn about the course content and confirm the GCSE entry requirements for the subjects you wish to study. It is important to read this document in its entirety before applying as it provides essential information about which courses best suit which students, our regulations on homework, independent study etc. and gives a holistic picture of the kind of learning environment we provide and expect students to abide by.
In addition to these three subjects, as a Catholic Sixth Form all students are required to take up the extended project qualification through their RE lessons. This qualification is worth more than an AS-Level in UCAS points; hence not only does it have value in its own right but it also counts as a university-accredited course. For further information on the EPQ please see the course booklet.
Despite being a relatively small Sixth Form of around 350 students we are able to offer a wide range of Academic and Applied A Levels and vocational diplomas. The menu to the left will allow you to navigate subject areas, for for specific qualifications, you can choose from the list below.
