In February 40 6th Form Students descended on the infamous Saalbach ski resort, Austria. After the usual long coach journey students were treated to a wonderful hotel which offered the very definition of doorstop skiing. Nestled in the side of the mountain at the top of the Saalbach region students were able to clip into their bindings and within seconds be at the ski lifts.
Conditions were excellent, with snow nearly every day and great progress was made by skiers of all abilities. The group were in good humour all week; relaxing at the incredible Tauern Spa on the Tuesday and signing the night away with karaoke on the Thursday. On the final night the group took part in the now traditional 'court' session where various misdemeanours from the week are discussed to great amusefment, before having a lovely end of trip dinner in town.
