Shakespeare Week

St_Charles_B_-_Tempest_workshop_1.jpgThe English Department were very keen to celebrate the 500-year anniversary of Shakespeare's death. To that end, they joined St Charles Borromeo in Weybridge for part of their 'Shakespeare Week' to run a workshop for Year 2 and Year 4 pupils at the school. Led by 'Head Sprites' (Mrs Dilworth and Miss Moore) the students acted out a shortened version of 'The Tempest' and explored stagecraft as well as the language in the play.

This afternoon was part of our continued commitment to developing relationships with our Deanery schools and giving their students an insight into the skills they will need in Key Stage 3 and beyond.
