Rugby stars score in Spain

The Year 10 Rugby Team have returned home from a victorious mini-tour of Spain during the October half term, during which they won out over some tough opposition!

The first game was against the professional outfit FCB Barcelona complete with full backroom staff, a large and formidable playing squad and the famous red and blue striped kit. The team battled hard against the older opposition and won the game 17-14 thanks to tries from Jake Yeadon, Andres Brodie-Suiero, Harry Roffey.

The second game was against Barcelona University College (BUC) under floodlights in one of the more picturesque grounds you are likely to see. With five minutes to go the team were a try down but a crazy and exciting finish to the game saw Salesian score two tries to win the game. Try scorers Jake Yeadon, Ronan O'Shea, Harry Roffey, Jude Falconer and Ciaran Milligan. Having battled hard and won both their games the boys relaxed enjoying all that Barcelona had to offer, a truly great few day. Big thanks to Mr Goulborn for leading the trip.
