Open Door sessions for Parents

At Salesian we run Open Door sessions on a Wednesday evening. These sessions are an opportunity for parents to raise concerns, issues or questions with a member of the Leadership Team in an informal way. They are a golden opportunity for parents to highlight problems early so that we are always able to ensure our students are getting the best out of all that we do. For clarification, Open Door is not the best forum to check on the general academic progress of your child or children, as this is best discussed with their Head of Year who knows them best and will find it much easier to answer your questions.

The sessions run weekly from 4.00- 7.00pm at the Guildford Rd site. If you should wish to attend, and to ensure that we have the right colleagues and information available to help, it is essential to email no later than 11.00 am on the Wednesday you intend to visit, with your child's name and the nature of your query or concern. This ensures that we know who to expect and have enough colleagues on hand to meet demand.

The first Open Door session of the year will take place on Wednesday 16th September from 4.00-7.00pm. Please do not hesitate to contact Mrs Strathdee, Assistant Headteacher, should you wish to come along to this, or any other Open Door session.
