May Procession

aem2.jpgThe May Procession this year was slightly different in that, thanks to the generosity of an ex-Salesian student, we were able to officially open the gazebo that was built for the statue of Our Lady. Rorie O'Keeffe cut the ribbon in memory of his late mother, Sandra, who had made the crown for Our Lady's statue for many years without ever taking any payment for it. For Sandra, it was an act of love. Katrina Baker made the wreath this year and helped with the planting around the statue. Our pupils helped with readings, music and designing the booklet for what was a memorable crowning in glorious sunshine. The final blessing was given by Fr Cyril who, in the spirit of Don Bosco, entrusted us all to the care of Our Lady.
