On 25th June, in just the fifteen minutes of morning break, the Fairtrade Committee raised £77.10 with a speedy sale of Fair Trade baked goods.
The event was part of the school's growing commitment to Fair Trade food consumption. Many thanks to the Year 7 pupils who assisted behind the stall, for Mr Curson for his sales pitch (watch out The Apprentice!), Mrs Tack for her business acumen at the till, Mr Corry for the photos and for all students and teachers who supported the event by purchasing the items on sale.
This followed our Fair Trade Bakeoff in March. Keep returning to the News section of the website for more information on Fair Trade at Salesian.
