Comedy Evening

Comedy_Evening_5_800x536.jpgA very successful night was organised by Tina Wright and Alisa Wickens to raise money for the children of Don Bosco Ashalayam. It gave the students who went out to India last year an opportunity to present their experiences to nearly 200 people.

Entertainment was provided by Kevin McLoughlin who had the audience intrigued by what seemed to be impossible tricks. The Sixth Formers who visited Kolkata this year sang a few of the songs that they sang for the children in India. Comedy was provided by our own Mr Ball, who was a surprise act. It was his debut, though it would have been impossible to tell. The main act of the evening were Croft and Pearce whose brand of humour had everyone wanting more.

All those who provided entertainment gave their services free of charge for which we are most grateful. Many thanks to all those who helped make our fundraiser so successful.
