The Year of Mercy was declared by Pope Francis last year and, as a school, we have chosen to engage in his call to mercy in a number of ways. One of those ways was to put together a book containing reflections and images of how young people view forgiveness and mercy. It was decided that all profits would be sent to Aid to the Church in Need in order to support the Christians who are suffering in the Middle East. Our book launch was at the Divine Mercy Mass in Weybridge at the beginning of April and a few copies were taken by St Paul's bookshop in Victoria. So far we have raised over £1,500.00 which we are in the process of transferring to Aid to the Church in Need.
