RE cinema trip: "Jerusalem"

The RE department took 8G to visit the IMAX in London on 16th June to watch the documentary "Jerusalem". The documentary gave the students a good insight into the rich diversity that exists in this fascinating city.

Priest In Secret

8G had the rare privilege earlier this year of meeting a priest who is working, in secret, in a country that is averse to Christianity.

We were delighted to hear that our liturgy choir, Salesian Souls, had been awarded the Grace Wright Memorial trophy for the best overall choral performance in the Woking Festival 2019.

Battle of the Bands 2019

A fantastic night was had by all on Friday 8th February, when we held our annual Battle of the Bands competition. Four experienced judges watched a selection of bands from all ages across the school perform, with special performances from last year’s winners and staff band (who have learnt some new songs!!!)

Salesian Souls Praise and Worship Evening

Salesian Souls were delighted to visit St Dunstan’s church in Woking for their monthly praise and worship evening on Monday 19th November. It was an excellent opportunity for our liturgy choir to hear worship in a contemporary setting and to sing with other worship musicians. We were delighted to be asked to sing one song as guest artists and as ever the students wowed the congregation!

Woking Festival

Salesian School swept the board at the Woking Festival on Tuesday 13th November, presenting performances from seven different choirs! Students worked incredibly hard throughout the night, impressing all with their beautiful singing as well as their professionalism and polished performances.
