The Year 10 element of the Salesian Ski club travelled to Austria in February, to explore the vast ski area of Saalbach. As usual we took 2 coach loads to the Salzburg region and the annual trip was another roaring success. All students progressed brilliantly with their weeks’ skiing and managed to return (relatively) unscathed. Conditions were perfect, with warm sunny weather all week and students enjoyed everything Saalbach has to offer, skiing hundreds of kilometres each day. Skier of the week was Sam Foreman with Lauren Rice picking up the Salesian Award. We hope to see many of the Y10s on the Sixth Form trip in a few years.
