Friday 26th May was a big day. Year 11 said goodbye to their school uniform (although we expect many of them to return in September) and it was the last day of normal school ever for our Year 13s. We marked this milestone in their education with a mass in St Anne's Church, celebrated by Fr. Michael. We reflected on the journey students have made over their time here - 2 years for some, 8 years for others - and Mr Kibble gave the students some wise words to take with them as they venture out into the world. It was wonderful that so many parents were able to join us for this occasion. We reminded students that they will also be part of the Salesian community and that we hope they will be in contact in the future to let us know how they are getting on.
And of course, it wasn't our last sight of the 13s. We saw them a month later for their Leavers' Ball, and look forward to celebrating their A level results with them later this summer.
