Festival of Creativity

Website_Sign_creativity.pngAt Salesian we believe that creativity plays an important part in helping children learn and achieve.  Being creative requires innovation and curiosity in learning, which takes courage to achieve. Each year we celebrate these achievements and attitudes at our Creativity Festival.

This year's events was held at our Sixth Form College on Thursday 13th July 2017, and showed off our use of creative approaches to learning to hundreds of visitors including students, parents, prospective parents and a clutch of old-boys and old-girls.

Visitors enjoyed Maths challenges, musical performances, historical artefacts from Chertsey Abbey, displays of students' art and design work, documentary film-making, crepe-making with the Languages Department, the Science Department's liquid nitrogen ice cream.

You can see some photographs from the evening below, or enjoy a closer look at our Art and Photography galleries.
