Friday 26th May was the last day of normal school ever for our Year 13s, marked with a mass in St Anne's Church, following by refreshments in the Sixth Form, in which we celebrated the the journey students have made over their time here.
Year 11 brought their journey through Key Stage 4 to an end in the now traditional way, with Mass at St Anne's church, an occasionally emotional final assembly, and the obligatory shirt-signing ceremony. Here are some pictures that sum up the day.
In May, Year 12 Theatre students performed their brand new pieces they had devised themselves, as part of their A Level exams.
We are very proud of our Year 11 Drama students who have recently delivered some stunning performances for their GCSE practical exam.
At Easter, the Geography department made a return visit to Iceland with 45 GCSE students to explore the glaciers and geysers. The weather was kind and we saw some stunning sights!
We raised nearly £5000 for our three charities on RAG Day, thanks to a crazy variety of activities, including the traditional Sixth Form fancy dress parade and our new Key Stage 3 charity fair. Enjoy the highlights!
Students from our wide variety of choirs and orchestras brought the term to a close - and the house down - with a musically diverse and entertaining concert.
In February half term, 95 students from Year 10 enjoyed a wonderful week's skiing in the Austrian ski resort of Saalbach. For many it was there first experience on the slopes and after a few of days of instruction everyone was skiing the alpine pistes with style and flair.
