As another group of Gold expeditions head for the Lake District, we reflect on the busiest year ever for the Duke of Edinburgh Award at Salesian School.

2017's musical theatre showcase was the classic musical by Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber: Joseph and his Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. The boys and girls of Years 7-9 did an amazing job - enjoy the pictures!
On the 30th June, Our Sixth Form students celebrated the end of their exams with their Leaver's Ball at the Oatlands Park Hotel - an evening of tuxedos and ball gowns, drinks and a formal dinner.
Silvermere played host once again to our Year 11s, suitably 'glammed up', to celebrate the end of their GCSE exams. As ever, the extraordinary limousines were outclassed only by the outfits, as you'll be able to see in our gallery of photos from the evening.
Friday 26th May was the last day of normal school ever for our Year 13s, marked with a mass in St Anne's Church, following by refreshments in the Sixth Form, in which we celebrated the the journey students have made over their time here.
