Enlightening minds, uplifting hearts

Our Ethos and Mission

IMG_0610_380.jpgAs a Catholic school and a strong faith community, we follow the philosophy of St John Bosco, the founder of the Salesian Order. He dedicated his life to the education of young people, saw the value of every child and wanted them to achieve their potential. We continue to work in this vein today and aim to provide every child with

  • the best examination results they are capable of achieving
  • an appreciation of their faith and responsiveness to the needs of others
  • the skills needed to make the most of their life opportunities beyond school

The school’s partnership with parents is key to achieving success and happiness for your child and we believe that high-quality education requires a balance between challenge and support. We aim to instil in our students the values of love, peace, justice and personal responsibility and this must be done in an orderly and settled environment. We insist on the highest standards of politeness, behaviour and appearance.

Harmonious relationships contribute significantly to the very positive ethos of the school and the strong sense of community. The school’s promotion of students’ spiritual, moral, social and cultural development is excellent.
